L3 (5yrs): Mommy and me unloaded the dishwasher without one single complainment!

L1 (8yrs) upon seeing an airport beacon light circling brightly in rural Kansas at night: Look! It’s a lighthouse!

L2 (7yrs): You know, everyone sins at least one time. Moses sinned twice.

MrsA to L2 (7yrs): Why did you whack your brother with your stuffed animal?

L2: Because I was thinking. And sometimes when I’m thinking, my brain sets aside kindness so it has room for more thoughts.
