The kids were up front for a special time with kids for Advent and got to answer various questions.

Pastor Kyle asked the kids what a miracle was.

L2 (8yrs): It’s when God does something that is impossible for humans to do.

Me to MrA.: That’s our kid! High five!

Later question: What is a miracle that you wish God would do?

L2: I wish he would make the Lego company start making Lego castle sets again.

L1:

Then L2 volunteered to wrap up the children’s time for praying for the church. He took the microphone and prayed: God, I hope you can help the church…so it’s not so hard to run. Amen.

The pastor and the church members and the parents all looked confused.

When L2 got back to his seat, we asked what he was meaning. “So the church isn’t so hard to run. They keep having to put up new screens and fix things and work on computers and have trouble making things work. I asked God to make things not so hard to run.”

I guess MrA and I should stop talking so much about the church tech issues over supper. 😆
