L2 (5yrs) super dramatically: Mom, one time when I was resting, I think I heard God clear some of the disobedience out of me!
L1: That might have been me you heard.
L2: Where were you?
L1: On the couch. I might have falled asleep. *sound effect* Honk-shhh, honk-shhh. That might have been what you heard.
L2 (5yrs): Mom, my green beans are so beautiful that I’m scared to eat them.
L1 (age 6): Gerbils are almost like owls. They both can stay up all night!
