A clatter sounded from the kitchen as L2 (3 yrs) was taking his plate to the dishwasher.
Me: What did you bump into?
L2: That was my plate. It bumped into the floor. And it was wriggling, but I stopped it!

L1 (5 yrs) explaining why and L2 were arguing): But Mom, he wants to share and I want to take turns!
