Miss Jess joined us for a couple weeks to help nanny. As they headed outside to play one day, L2(3y) asked, “Are you going to come with us, Miss Jess?”
Miss Jess: Yes.
L2: Because you love us and we are so fun to watch!
Later, we were picking Miss Jess up after she visited a friend.
L2: We are going to get Miss Jess because she misses us!
I was talking to L1(4y) about Psalm 100…
Me: For the Lord – He has made us and not we ourselves. We are His people, the sheep of his pasture.
L1: That’s wrong. God didn’t make us.
Me (confused): Why do you say that?
L1: Because [the midwife] made us in the special place in your tummy! And then she helped us get out!
L1: Can I clean that on my mouth?
